Businesses in the South East Midlands once again have the opportunity to participate in the ScaleUp Institute’s annual ScaleUp Survey. This is now in its ninth year, and this year’s survey is being conducted at a pivotal time for the country. A new Government will take effect in September and this Survey gives you the chance to highlight the key issues and challenges which need addressing by the new administration as they take office.
The ScaleUp Institute works to make the UK the best place in the world for a business to scale up and grow, and help ensure that you receive the support you need to maintain, achieve and exceed your growth aspirations. As a leader of a scaling business, playing a vital role in the UK’s economy and being a driver of its future, your voice needs to be heard. The powerful evidence provided by the thousands of scaling businesses who have participated in this yearly survey informs and shapes the support that the private and public sectors can offer to help your business continue to scale.
The Survey’s influence and importance has grown steadily over the years, providing crucial data and insights to inform how both the public and private sectors better support and break down barriers that face scaling businesses like yours. It has led to new finance, visa and support schemes for scaling businesses. The insights from it have, for example, been utilised to develop the ScaleUp Visa due to launch this Autumn, the Future Fund Breakthrough; the new Innovation and Export Strategies; and sectoral reviews for Fintechs, Creatives and Life Sciences among others.
Through this year’s survey, The Scale-Up Institute are seeking to understand the current barriers to your future growth, and how world and domestic events are making an impact on your business and its plans.
The survey should take approximately 30 minutes to complete, and the deadline for completion is the 23rd September.
