Save energy and cut your bills with FREE support from the Luton Energy Doctor
The new Luton Energy Doctor scheme is offering free and impartial energy advice to small businesses and charities in Luton to help save energy, reduce their energy bills and understand how to become more energy efficient.
The Luton Energy Doctor is providing free support to enable businesses and charities working within Luton to identify quick wins and longer-term energy efficiency actions, and to signpost to funding and further support – helping businesses make informed decisions about which energy efficiency solution is best for them.
The support is being delivered on behalf of Luton Borough Council by sustainable business experts from local environmental charity Groundwork East.
Through the scheme, both owner-occupiers and tenant businesses can receive free energy audits and assessments with the aim that they can use the information to make quick, practical and tangible savings whether in operational energy consumption or energy costs.
Advisors from Groundwork East will also be able to identify new actions for organisations or establish the anticipated cost and carbon savings that planned actions will achieve; whether these are steps such as improved heating controls, upgrading lighting or equipment, or a longer-term investment such as the installation of improved insulation or even solar PV.
This FREE support is available NOW on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis to any small business or charity based within the Luton Borough Council area. The programme runs until 31st May 2025 – so visit https://invest.stepforwardluton.co.uk/support-programmes/ to find out more and register for this FREE support or email the Luton Energy Doctor team on netzeroluton@groundwork.org.uk with any questions.
