Velocity launches 58 FREE business workshops across the South East Midlands

This September will see the start of a series of 58 free business workshops launching across the South East Midlands in Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Banbury and Milton Keynes.

The first free workshop takes place on 12^th September in Daventry at the iCon Centre. Called New Ways to finance your business, this free half-day workshop will help businesses learn more about innovative funding routes, how to become funding ready and how to prepare an investment pitch.

On 18^th September, Towcester Racecourse will host the second free workshop Attract and manage investors, designed to help businesses select the right investor, manage the investor relationship and learn the method for maximising value and minimising risk.

For those keen to boost sales, Smash your sales targets at the Portfolio Innovation Centre in Northampton on 23^rd September will help businesses enhance the effectiveness of sales conversations, learn how to create an effective sales process and remove barriers to sale.

Aimed at owners and directors of businesses, finance managers, senior members of staff and marketing managers, other workshop topics include building your website, how to be found online, driving traffic to your website, negotiating successfully, innovation not invention, and planning your product pipeline, and will run at venues across the South East Midlands between September 2014 and May 2015.
