Catesby Aerodynamic Research and Innovation Centre Case Study

This project will see the development of a new 1,465 square metre research and innovation centre that enables high-performance technology start-ups and early growth businesses to co-locate next to the Catesby Aerodynamic Research Facility (CARF), which allows full-scale vehicle testing in constant conditions.

The innovation centre will act as a hub for the whole site, running research and development based conferences, training courses and seminars.

The centre will have:

• flexible lettable office space from 10 sqm to 50 sqm
• formal and informal meeting space
• high-end conference facilities
• co-working space for student/graduate entrepreneurs
• exhibition areas
• coffee bar and reception
• event space for up to 200 people
• access to university services and facilities

This will be part of the new Catesby science park, where businesses that rent larger units in the area can benefit from new support and expertise provided by universities renowned for their high-performance technology research and teaching.
