Flitwick Transport Interchange Case Study

This project will create a multi-modal public transport interchange at the existing Flitwick rail station.

The interchange will enable full integration across different modes of transport, deliver new passenger facilities, increase modal shifts from private vehicles to sustainable travel, support regeneration of the station area and future proof public transport.

The scheme will overcome structural challenges in the town centre (caused by the location of the rail line and station) and directly enable the redevelopment of the Flitwick Station Area for the purpose of a mixed-use commercial scheme comprising residential, leisure units and car parking.
