This project aims to update the facilities available at The Bedford College Group and for the College to be a leader in the “Design – build – logistics – construct” field by teaching Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).

The investment will fund:

The existing facility is a 2,345m2 condition C (poor) 1960’s workshop at the Bedford College, Cauldwell Street site, situated on a prominent arterial road approaching Bedford Town Centre.

Project Status: Completed September 2021
Projected Outputs: Apprentices, new full time, part time and higher education learners, and employment opportunities within the college. Redevelopment of this building could begin to improve the local environment.
