The ‘Building Your Confidence Through Stories’ project is aims to support women through a series of writing, career development and motivational workshops. 

Throughout the 12-week workshop programme, participants will have access to information, advice and guidance to support them to find work or training. This support includes:

• One to one information, advice and guidance: During these sessions, the participants will identify a suitable job role, identify their barriers to the job market and develop transferable skills.
• Individual learning plans: Through an initial assessment, participants will be given an individual learn plan to support them throughout their personal development.
• Access to labour market information: During the programme, participants will be given up-to-date information relating to the referral system, benefits and external agencies that can support their routes into employment.

‘Building Your Confidence Through Sharing Stories’ is an innovative way to support the local community to develop transferable skills, which will support them in securing employment
